About
Run The Race
After Justin Britt’s NFL career ended abruptly, the former Seattle Seahawks lineman struggled to grasp who he was without football. Who he was without something to chase. Despite trying different activities, he felt lost without football. Running restored Britt’s mental health, confidence, and sense of belonging. He now runs daily, competes in races, and has founded Run the Race, a movement to help other athletes who are struggling with mental health after their careers. Supported by former teammates like Richard Sherman, Britt says he’s found the camaraderie and purpose he once missed from football.
